RESUME' |
I was born in Clifton Forge Va. at a very
young age. Even then mom and dad where always trying to pin something on
me. The C&O railway transferred my father to Huntington, WV. in 1957
where I attended West Jr. High School and graduated from
Huntington East
Vocational High School in 1962. I
received a high school diploma along with an Architectural-drafting diploma. I am
a United States Air Force and Vietnam Veteran of the nineteen sixties. No
flowers sprouted out of my short hair although I was caught wearing a
leisure suit with a white belt once or twice. I was extremely fortunate to
marry a wonderful woman from Sherman High School in Seth WV. She has
managed to put up with me since Dec.1964. We have a son (Jeffrey Bryan), a
daughter (Terrie Michele), and two beautiful grandsons (Bryan Mathew and
Shayne Hunter). I attended Marshall University, Wichita State
University, Montgomery Junior College, University of Maryland, and WV.
Institute of Technology. I finally graduated from NOVA Southeastern
University in 1994 with a B. S. degree in Professional Management. My
oldest grandson (Bryan), both children, my wife and several long time
friends attended the ceremonies to witness me cross the stage to receive
my diploma at the ripe old age of 50 years. Mom and Dad always accused me
of being a slow learner. It was one of the proudest days of my life. Man,
did we party hardy that night. Currently I am working as a Project Manager
for Space Gateway Support, a government contractor supporting launch
efforts at Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Air Force
Station. School continues to be a part of life
although I am now a member of the silver haired brigade. I'm forced to
compete with the young yuppies or x-generation, or whatever they are
called, that grew up in a cyber world, because I am not independently
wealthy. Remember the fact that I was born at a very young age and a slow
learner, well to add insult to injury, I was also born poor. The wife and
kids refuse to support me in a manner that I would like to become
accustomed (Mansion, Servants, Yacht, Jaguar, Any volunteers out there,
Hello?). Anyway, accepting the fact that I have to compete, I am working
on a Master's Degree, from Webster
University, in Computer Resources and
Information Management. Creation of this Web page is a requirement for one of the courses in the degree program. I must be learning something or you wouldn't be able to see or know who I am by sitting at your computer. Thanks for viewing my personal web site.
